Job Search & Computer Training
Come to the Norwood Branch of the ANPL on Mondays from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m and let an experienced Employment Counsellor from the Peterborough Employment Resource Centre (PERC) assist you with your job search. Just knock on the door, no appointment is necessary.
All Asphodel-Norwood Township residents can get help in Job Search areas like Basic Computer, Introduction to the Internet, How to Create a Resume or Cover letter, Job Search Strategies and many more including scanning and photocopying. All these services are free to the job seeker.
For more information call the Peterborough Employment Resource Centre at 705-748-8830 x 3310. This is a free service to anyone in the community whether you are unemployed, re-entering the workforce or looking to change careers.

Employment Planning & Counseling services also offers assistance with your job search. They can be found at the Norwood Branch on Tuesdays from 10:00am – 1:00 pm.
Home Delivery Service
Are you or someone you know physically unable to visit the library? Did you know the library has a service designed specifically for the home-bound? We offer book deliveries for those who cannot get to a library due to a long or short term disability.
DO I QUALIFY?
You may qualify for Home delivery (depending on location availability) if you are unable to use the library due to a personal or physical limitation, whether a physical disability, handicap, illness, advanced age, short- term convalescence, or illness resulting in limited mobility such as cardiac or arthritic conditions.
WHAT KINDS OF MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE?
Books in LARGE PRINT or regular size print, periodicals and Audio Books. You may request specific authors or titles, or the librarian can select materials for you based on your reading interests and preferences.
WHAT WILL THIS COST ME?
This service is FREE! You will not be charged any fines. Individuals or agencies using the service are responsible for lost or damaged items.
HOW OFTEN ARE BOOKS DELIVERED?
Home delivery visits are made 2 weeks apart. A schedule will be discussed with you during the first visit. Materials will be delivered and retrieved on the same day.

You can go in person to get your birth certificate, business licence or hunting license at the ServiceOntario Centre in Peterborough.
