Teen Services

Teen Nights

ANPL Teen Night Members plan and promote exciting programs, participate in special community service projects, and discuss books, music movies, gaming and web sites!

An interest in serving others in the community and in participating in the meetings regularly is helpful. Membership looks good on resumes and college applications. ANPL Teen Night members also receive volunteer hours. Refreshments are served at every meeting.

Volunteen

Teens are an important part of the Asphodel-Norwood Public Library Volunteen team. Volunteering is a great way for teens to get insight into various Library careers, receive volunteer hours or simply to make a positive impact in the community.

What is Volunteen?

If you’re a teenager interested in volunteer service, then ANPL Volunteen is the program for you! Volunteen is a great way for teenagers to find ongoing volunteer opportunities both during the school year and during the summer months.

ANPL Teen Volunteer Requirements

  • 13 to 18 years of age.
  • Minimum three-month commitment – six months or more preferred.
  • Regular schedule is required for many positions (weekly or every other week).

A limited number of volunteer positions are available for teens each year. Students are advised to apply for volunteer openings early in the school year.
