Job Search & Computer Training
Come to the Norwood Branch of the ANPL on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m, except the third week when an evening session is held, and let an experienced Employment Counsellor from the Peterborough Employment Resource Centre (PERC) assist you with your job search.
All Asphodel-Norwood Township residents can get help in Job Search areas like Basic Computer, Introduction to the Internet, How to Create a Resume or Cover letter, Job Search Strategies and many more including scanning and photocopying. All these services are free to the job seeker. Evening sessions are held every third Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
For more information call the Peterborough Employment Resource Centre at 705-748-8830 x 3310. This is a free service to anyone in the community whether you are unemployed, re-entering the workforce or looking to change careers.
