GALE CENGAGE LearningA one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literature and art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology, and many general interest topics. Millions of full-text articles that go far beyond what is available on the Internet. Updated daily.

The Gale-Cengage Learning databases cover an incredible amount of information. Just seeing the list of individual databases can be overwhelming. To assist in making your research efforts somewhat easier, ANPL has broken down these databases into smaller, more manageable groups.

General Learning: These databases are full of general information. If you are not sure of where to look, you can do a general search of all the databases through PowerSearch. Click on one of the names below to use this service.

Gale Virtual Reference Library – (GVRL): Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
