Knowledge Ontario is a province-wide initiative that is providing Ontario residents access to improved information resources. Knowledge Ontario consists of six components that will be put in place over time. The components are: Resources Ontario (online electronic resources), Ask Ontario (real-time, virtual reference services), Our Ontario.ca (digital library collections), Connect Ontario (a space for Ontarians to connect and interact with each other), Teach Ontario (online modules/learning tools to help students/teachers/business/individuals to use what Knowledge Ontario provides), and Video Ontario (will provide educational videos/content, particularly health information to Ontarians).
Students who attended the library during class visits raved about the experience and many attended our summer reading programs!
